This is a spiritual update to my 2018 Ethereum thesis.
Less philosophy, more pragmatics. Covers what GENIUS and CLARITY actually change, the supply-side reality, network reliability metrics, and the valuation reframing nobody is pricing yet.
Worth reading whether you've been here since 2017 or you're just now taking crypto seriously.
Why the CLARITY Act Quietly Makes Ethereum the Biggest Winner in Crypto
EDIT: Cardano, Avalanche, and Algorand were left off the chart. They have decent decentralization cases, but legal classification is only one filter. ETH DeFi TVL is in the hundreds of billions and ETH is highly liquid and accessible via ETFs and orther derivatives like treasuries. The others sit at $1-2B or below, lower liquidity, and no ETFs or treasuries. Also, developer activity and institutional adoption track the same gap. The legal test matters, but it doesn't matter alone. Look at how Ethereum DeFi and institutional metrics have grown over the past couple of years and compare that to each of those networks.
