My P2P function was disabled for wash-trading, I don't even know what that is

Howdy everybody. I was making an attempt to purchase some crypto and I acquired a message that each one my P2P features (purchase and promote orders) have been suspended. I didn't know what wash-trading was till after this event, but my greatest guess for abnormal activity can be buying a bunch of crypto over many orders consecutively, for example $1000 over 20 $50 orders (I do this because if I get scammed I can minimise the damages considerably).
