I get that the most bearish times in crypto usually turn out to be the best buys. It's happened numerous times now it's almost a meme. Right now the FUD is different. It's not only about the macro, rates, regulation, ETFs or liquidity.
There's also non - crypto drama being associated with crypto such as the Epstein name popping up in the headlines and on social media - everything makes the whole space look radioactive to outsiders. Every week there's a brand-new reason thrown in with the pile as to why crypto is "uninvestable."
So I'm really looking at trying to work this through rather than just, you know, shout: buy the fear. What actually clears this all out is What's big enough for people to not give a crap anymore about all of those narratives at once?
In previous cycles you might point to something obvious - the money printing, the return of liquidity, the intervention of institutions, the clean narrative shift. This time I just can't identify the obvious trigger yet. Is it rate cuts and liquidity eventually pushing on a risk on vibe? Is it the real regulatory clarity? Or is it the boring answer with price just beginning to move up and everybody forgetting why they were bearish?
Long- term I'm still bullish just trying to figure out what the reset button looks like this cycle.
